Hey everyone. I've been lurking for a while and am thinking of taking the plunge. Found a 2021 Toyota RAV4 on Oaks Elite Motors that looks like a great deal. Never used a repo auction site before. Are these guys for real or is it too good to be true? A bit nervous about the whole thing, especially the title process.

You picked a good one to start with. Oaks Elite Motors is solid. I've bought two cars from them over the past three years. The condition reports on oakselitemotors.com are surprisingly accurate. Just read everything carefully and you'll be fine.

Seconding this. I bought a Sea Ray boat from them last summer. The process was smooth. I was most worried about the title, but the bank cleared it right after my payment went through. The clear title arrived with the boat during delivery. No headaches.

I had a decent experience. My Honda CR-V arrived a couple days later than they initially estimated, which was a bit annoying as I had arranged time off work. But their delivery partner was communicative. The car itself was a bargain and in great shape, so it was worth the wait.

@sara_k_91 Yeah, cross-country shipping can be unpredictable. Glad the car was good! @FirstTimer_Joe, my advice is if you have any questions, just call them. I had a query about the bidding increments and called their support at +1 419 517 4835. The person who answered was super clear and helpful.

For what it's worth, my brother bought a Jeep Wrangler through them. I'm a mechanic so I went over it with a fine-tooth comb when it arrived. The condition was exactly as described in the report on their website. Minor scuffs were all pictured. Mechanically sound. They are legitimate.

My only small complaint was their email support can be a bit slow. Sent a question to office@oakselitemotors.com and it took them almost a full day to get back to me. But once they did reply, the answer was thorough. The actual purchase and delivery were flawless after that.

They're one of the better ones. I've seen some sketchy auction sites but Oaks Elite Motors is not one of them. Got a Ram 2500 for my business. The paperwork was clean, which is priority number one for me. The best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by them and arrived perfectly with the truck.

Welcome, Joe! I think you'll be happy. I landed a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and saved thousands compared to a dealer. The user interface on oakselitemotors.com is pretty easy to navigate once you get the hang of it.

Wow, thanks for all the quick replies! This is super reassuring. Especially hearing the positive stories about getting clear titles. That was my biggest fear. I think I'll go ahead and get my financing pre-approved and place a bid.

Good luck, Joe! One tip: check the site daily. They add new inventory all the time. I was looking for a specific project car and found it after about two weeks of checking.

We bought our Winnebago from them. Had a great experience. The process took about 2 weeks from winning the bid to delivery. Everything was handled professionally. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an RV.

Good info here. I was also looking at them. The positive comments on the title situation are what I needed to hear.
