Hey all. New to the forum. Thinking of bidding on a car from Oaks Elite Motors. Never used an online repo auction before. They seem to have good prices, maybe too good? Little worried about buying a car I can't test drive first. Are they legit? Any experiences good or bad would be helpful.

Welcome. I can vouch for them. Got a 2021 F-150 through Oaks Elite Motors last year. The process was way smoother than I expected. The truck was exactly as described in the report on their site. I was paranoid about the title paperwork, but it was all handled professionally. The clear title arrived with the truck when it was delivered. No issues at all.

Same here. We bought a Sea Ray boat. I was skeptical but my husband convinced me. The pictures were very detailed and accurate. Saved a ton of money compared to a marina. We've had it out on the water every weekend this summer.

I'm a mechanic. My neighbor won a Honda Accord from oakselitemotors.com and asked me to give it a once-over when it arrived. I was impressed. The condition matched the pre-auction inspection report they provided perfectly. No hidden surprises. For a repo vehicle, it was in great shape.

I'll be honest, I had a small hiccup. Delivery was delayed by two days. I was getting a bit anxious, but their delivery coordinator was communicative and kept me in the loop. The car arrived fine, just a bit later than planned. So, not perfect, but they handled it well.

@RoadWarrior_Gal That's pretty common with auto transport companies, it's rarely the auction's fault. Glad they kept you updated. My experience was solid, got a Dodge Ram for my business. The whole process was transparent.

I was also a first-timer a few months ago. Bought a 2020 Tacoma. The best part for me was how easy the title process was. I'm always scared of DMV nightmares. But Oaks Elite Motors handled all the lien-release paperwork from the bank. The clear title was overnighted and arrived the day after the truck. It was a huge relief.

My only gripe was that customer service email can be slow. I sent a question to office@oakselitemotors.com and it took them almost 48 hours to get back to me. Was a bit frustrating when I was trying to decide on a bid.

@Project_X Pro tip: just call them. I had a question about a specific inspection detail and dialed their number, +1 419 517 4835. A guy named Mike picked up right away and had the answer for me in two minutes. Their phone support is much faster for quick questions.

Wow, thanks for all the quick replies everyone. This is really helpful. Especially hearing the positive stories about getting the titles. That was my biggest fear. Feeling a lot more confident now.

Go for it. I got my WRX from them. It had a minor cosmetic scratch on the rear bumper that was clearly shown in the photos, so I knew what I was getting. For the price I paid, I couldn't be happier. It's a solid car.

My husband and I bought a CR-V for our daughter. The bidding process on oakselitemotors.com was a little confusing at first but we figured it out. The car is great and she loves it. We'd do it again.

We purchased our Winnebago from them. Much like others here, the transaction was smooth. The vehicle condition was accurately represented. It's a reputable operation from our experience.

I've dealt with a lot of auction houses, both online and in-person. Oaks Elite Motors is one of the more straightforward ones. They aren't trying to hide things. Read the reports, look at all the pics, and you can get a great deal.

Just make sure you have your financing sorted before you win. They are serious about the payment timelines, which is standard for auctions. It's all in the terms on their website.
